Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison doesn't rule out show reunion on Lorraine slot

Popular actor Blake Harrison appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning to preview the second season of his new show 'Kate & Koji' - and refused to rule out a possible Inbetweeners reunion.

The star was speaking to Scottish host Lorraine Kelly about his new venture into live audience sitcom work with 'Kate & Koji' - but presenter Lorraine couldn't help herself but mention his role in the Channel 4 show.

Lorraine said: "For you, Inbetweeners really opened a lot of doors didn’t it?

"And people have such affection for that show and the movies. It must have been lovely to be part of something like that but I feel as though you don’t need to do any more - it’s done do you feel that? Or there’s more stories to be told?"

Speaking about The Inbetweeners, Blake said: "I really enjoyed my time working on The Inbetweeners, but I was done in 2014 when we shot the last film.

“But I guess, you never really know what’s gonna happen in the future, so never say never.”

Lorraine said: "But sometimes that is nice, isn't it? I mean, you mentioned Frasier. It had a lovely beginning, a middle, and an end. And that's nice sometimes. We can always watch reruns. We can watch reruns of the Inbetweeners, of course."

One Twitter user couldn't believe the difference in Blake's appearance from when he was filming The Inbetweeners, saying: "OMG Neil of Inbetweeners looks so different now!! #lorraine

The Inbetweeners finished filming back in 2010, but went on to create two blockbuster films from just two seasons of the much-loved series.

It followed the teenage lives of Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison), Jay Cartwright (James Buckley), Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas), and main focus Will McKenzie (Simon Bird) as they navigated the usual troubles of high school such as girls, grades, and grandmas.

Episodes of the popular comedy are still available to watch on the All 4 Hub on demand platform and catch up service.

Lorraine continues every weekday on ITV from 9am onwards.
