Actor Anthony Head has switched up his look for a new role with Channel 4.
The 66-year-old, who's starred in Little Britain, Doctor Who and in The Inbetweeners Movie as Will Mackenzie's absentee dad, usually rocks a classically suave look.
But now he's teamed up with Channel 4 for returning sitcom Back, in which he'll play a potential father of David Mitchell's character Stephen.
And his character, dubbed "Charismatic Mike", looks worlds away from Anthony's usual James Bond vibes.
Mike - Anthony - can be seen wearing a loose fitting shirt, leather waist coat and necklaces in an image from the show.
Peeking out of his shirt are chest tattoos, while he sports considerable facial hair and a swept over mullet.
Anthony stars alongside Peep Show team David and his comedy partner Robert Webb, in the series which airs on Channel 4 on January 21.
Anthony first became a heartthrob in the late 80s and early 90s during his run in adverts for Nescafe Gold Blend coffee, in which a love story with his neighbour played out in 45-second snippets.
Actress Sharon Maughan ran out of coffee, popping round to borrow some from Anthony, their blossoming romance played out in cliffhanger ads.
His Back co-star Robert, meanwhile, has opened up about the life-saving heart surgery he underwent before filming got underway.
"The first thing you want to do is start taking it for granted again," he said.
"On the other hand I certainly felt that my own death is now not this very, very mysterious or foreign thing any more. It’ll be a day like this."
David kept us entertained in 2020 with his turn on Celebrity Gogglebox, with fans calling for him to become a permanent cast member.
