Good Friday seems like as, ahem, good a time as any to reflect on the journey we’re on and how we got here. For this recess edition of the podcast, we revisit the tumultuous party nominating conventions of last year, when the political world tried to make sense of the flurry of news that hit the campaign trail, foreshadowing some of the instability we find ourselves in now.
And for good measure, we take a listen to our wrap-up episode of the congressional primaries that followed those summer conventions, where we tried to make a little sense of the House and Senate races in November that have shaped what’s going on in Congress in 2025.
