MEDICAL Aid for Palestinians is one of very few aid organisations still operating in Gaza.
The charity is delivering life saving aid every day, which is why we at The National are so keen to raise as much money for their work as possible via our fundraiser (donate by clicking banner below).
This includes disposables, clean bed linen and equipment to help engineers carry out vital maintenance to bolster Gaza's struggling healthcare system.
The WHO has previously warned that disease could kill more Palestinians than bombs as disease and infection spreads in densely populated areas. 
MAP’s Gaza team help to fight the transmission of disease and infection in Gaza.
They also provide support to people driven from their homes, including hygiene and dignity kits to families, as well as essential items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, nappies and other items.
This is all as they face incredible danger themselves.
The least their bravery deserves is the medication and equipment they need to do their job.
