"I've not been here before, but I'm really looking forward to it," said the 25-year-old. "I think it's one of those stadiums in Europe that you dream of one day playing in as a kid because it just has the history behind it.

As it stands, Celtic command 20th place in the Champions League league-phase table with one win, one draw and one loss.

Leipzig, on the other hand, have suffered three defeats so far, so travel to Glasgow in search of their first three points.

Baumgartner added: "[We feel] it's our turn now. I don't think we've played poorly in the Champions League, or at least, there were periods where we weren't bad. And now we just need to reward ourselves."
