If you’re a daily player of the MLB guessing game known as Immaculate Grid — which is now powered by Baseball Reference — you know it can be tough to answer some of the more challenging parts of the puzzle. So we’re here to try and help you. Let’s run down a few clues for some of the tougher parts of Thursday’s offering:
Angels who were Giants: This two-time Cy Young winner and three-time World Series champ pitched in nine games for the Angels before retiring.
Angels who were Padres: This current Angel played four seasons for the Padres and hit 89 homes while with them.
Cardinals who were Padres: He started his MLB career as a second baseman with the Cardinals before a huge comeback with the Yankees last year in which he hit 15 dingers in 47 games.
