In recent days, rumbles from both the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets have hinted that both teams could realistically see key big men on each team return to action from injury later on in the much-anticipated first-round series between the two Atlantic Division rivals.
Word is that starting Celtics center Robert Williams III and Brooklyn big man Ben Simmons may be available to return in the first round, with a fair amount of secrecy surrounding Timelord’s situation at present, and optimistic talk but less so levels of activity for Simmons setting the table for late series drama to take place.
Speaking after practice on Thursday, Boston head coach Ime Udoka weighed in on both threads of frontcourt injury recovery rumors.
