Ime Udoka’s update on deadline activity, Nesmith ankle

Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka gave a few team updates and a touch of insight into the Celtics pre-deadline activities at the team press conference Tuesday. Udoka said Aaron Nesmith is dealing with an ankle injury after rolling it Monday night in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans at home. Nesmith will be evaluated tomorrow, but it is fairly swollen, according to Udoka.

Nesmith joins guard Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III among those in question for the Celtics’ upcoming game against the Charlotte Hornets. Smart has been in the league’s health and safety protocols since before the team’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Williams is out with the birth of his child.
