If former Boston Celtics and current Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka is feeling some kind of way about his return to the ball club that fired him ahead of the start of last season, he isn’t showing it much in his recent media appearances. Speaking to the press ahead of a reunion of sorts for the Rockets’ game at TD Garden on Saturday evening, Udoka made it clear he was more focused on the tilt in front of him, even if it was the lowly Detroit Pistons.
“I look at one (game) at a time and was not thinking ahead of Detroit at all tonight,” said Udoka via Heavy’s Mike Thomas.
“For me, you go back to somewhere where you had some success, but overall I’d say I’m not too sentimental of a person and won’t get caught up in anything like that,” added the Rockets coach.
