Police want to speak with a man after a worker was racially abused on a Metro train.
The Metro worker approached the man to inspect his ticket as the train passed through North Shields station between 7pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 29.
But the ticket inspector was met with a tirade of racist abuse from the male, who then left the train at the next stop and ran away, it is reported.
