An "image of the Queen" appeared in the clouds above Wales following the news on Queen Elizabeth II's death.
A cloud looking like The Queen was spotted in Porthcawl just hours after her death was announced. Catherine Honora Rachael Cowan captured the cloud formation in the skies just above the Seagull Pub in the Nottage area of the town.
She described the moment as "very touching" and "moving". "Myself and my partner Julian were meeting up with our running group, Porthcawlharriers, after having a break throughout the summer," she explained. "The main topic of conversation during the evening was of course the Queen.

"As we were leaving, I saw the image of what I thought was the face of the Queen. On such a sad day, I thought it was a beautiful moment." She added: "It was a touching moment and it felt very moving."
The Queen's death comes 17 months after the death of her husband of 73 years Prince Philip. Earlier this year the Queen marked her platinum jubilee commemorating 70 years on the throne. Since 2015 she had been the world’s oldest current monarch.
