Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a potential running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris, addressed recent reports suggesting he had discussions with Harris campaign staff regarding the vice presidential role. Pritzker clarified that while he has been in contact with the campaign to support Harris in the upcoming election, he did not have a specific conversation about the vice presidential position on Wednesday as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.

During a news conference in Chicago, Pritzker stated that he has engaged in numerous conversations with individuals associated with the Harris campaign. He emphasized that the Harris campaign did not reach out to him on the mentioned day but acknowledged his regular communication with campaign members to assist in promoting Harris' message and securing victory in November.
