Illegal Immigrant Arrested For Robbery And Lewd Act In NYC

U.S. Supreme Court allows Texas law on suspected illegal immigrants to take effect

An incident involving an illegal immigrant from Venezuela with suspected ties to the Tren de Aragua gang has recently come to light in New York City. The 25-year-old suspect, identified as Brandon Simosa, was arrested outside a migrant shelter after allegedly breaking into a Manhattan prosecutor's apartment and committing various offenses.

According to the NYPD, Simosa followed a 38-year-old woman into her apartment building in Manhattan during the early hours of Sunday. Once inside, he demanded cash, stole credit cards and a cellphone from her purse, and reportedly engaged in a lewd act in front of the woman before fleeing the scene.

It was revealed that the victim works for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and the suspect is an illegal immigrant with suspected ties to the Venezuelan prison gang. Simosa was apprehended outside the Row, a migrant shelter established by city officials to accommodate the influx of migrants into New York City under the Biden-Harris administration.

Subsequently, Simosa faces multiple charges including sexually motivated robbery, sexually motivated burglary, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, petit larceny, and drug-related charges as per the NYPD.

The Row and other migrant shelters in New York City have been identified as hot spots for criminal activities linked to the Tren de Aragua gang. Authorities have associated the gang with a surge in robberies targeting women for their belongings, characterizing it as a concerning trend of migrant-related crime.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, known for his controversial far-left stance, has been involved in high-profile cases, including the prosecution of former President Donald Trump. Currently, his office is pursuing charges against a Marine veteran who intervened in a violent subway incident involving a schizophrenic individual.
