Arsenal transfer target Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly made a decision on his future as he approaches the end of his contract at Manchester City.
Gundogan, 32, has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in recent months. The Gunners have prioritised a new midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window, with sporting director Edu Gaspar identifying West Ham star Declan Rice as his number one target.
However, the growing likelihood of Granit Xhaka leaving the club over the summer means Mikel Arteta may be tempted in purchasing another midfielder.

Gundogan's availability on a free transfer makes him an attractive option for the north Londoners. The German has won five Premier League titles since joining City in 2016 but he looks destined to exit at the end of the month.
Previous reports suggest that Arsenal have 'concrete interest' in the former Borussia Dortmund star, but it now seems Barcelona are going to secure his services.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Gundogan is ready to 'close the chapter' on his spell in the Premier League and has been convinced to join Xavi's side. Barca are said to have offered the midfielder a three-year contract, an additional year to the initial two-year proposal.
The news of Barcelona's advantage, Corriere dello Sport have claimed Serie A giants AC Milan are in 'advanced talks' to bring Gundogan to the San Siro. The report claims the Rossoneri are 'confident' the 32-year-old will move to Italy.
Gundogan is expected to play a key part in Man City's FA Cup final this afternoon against Manchester United. A decision on his future isn't expected until next week's Champions League final with Inter Milan, at the earliest.
