IKEA is urgently recalling one of its food products after "pieces of plastic" were found in certain packs.
The Swedish giant is asking customers who purchased a specific batch of its HUVUDROLL Vegetable Balls 1000g Frozen to stop using it and contact their customer services team.
Shoppers who have one of the products in questions will be given a full refund — and a receipt is not required.

According to a release from the Food Standards Agency, the potential presence of plastic in the vegetable balls "makes this product unsafe to eat".
In a statement, IKEA said: "It has come to our attention that plastic pieces from a broken production line have contaminated one isolated batch of HUVUDROLL Vegetable Balls 1000g Frozen.
"Therefore, products from this affected batch have now been withdrawn from sale and we are issuing a recall. We kindly ask customers to return them to an IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required."
