IKEA has today announced the launch of its first ever Easter sale. Customers can save up to 50% across furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, decorative accessories and more until Sunday, April 16.
Encouraging a more sustainable way to shop, IKEA Family members will receive an additional 25% when selling products back to IKEA via the Buyback & Resell this April.
Products from dressers and bookcases to children’s mattresses and textiles can be accepted as part of the scheme. IKEA Family members selling back their old IKEA items through the Buyback & Resell scheme, will see the additional 25% added to their IKEA refund card to spend both in-store and online. As with all IKEA gift cards, there will be no expiry date on when new purchases need to be made, encouraging people to only buy items when needed.
For example, IKEA Family members can receive:
- £31 for an old MALM chest of four drawers in like-new condition
- £40 for an old BILLY bookcase in good condition with minor scratches
- £24 for a well-used KALLAX shelving unit with several scratches
For those wanting to purchase pre-loved IKEA furniture, Circular Hubs are located in IKEA stores, featuring second-hand items bought from the Buyback & Resell service, as well as ex-display products and discontinued furniture. The initiative is also available online, allowing customers to browse and reserve items from the comfort of their home; making the process even easier and more accessible.
The Buyback & Resell offer will be available until Sunday, April 30 April.
