IKEA announces first Easter sale with prices slashed by up to 50%

IKEA is helping homeowners give their properties a refresh for Spring by announcing its first ever Easter sale, with prices slashed by as much as 50 per cent.

While other Easter sales are good for grabbing some our favourite chocs and other treats, there is also often a good perfect to nab some discounts for the home.

And even more so now, with IKEA shoppers able to enjoy a half-price sale across a range of popular departments including furniture, kitchen appliances, soft furnishings, accessories and much more.

Available in-store and online now, the Swedish flat-pack giant's first ever Easter sale will be available for shoppers to make incredible savings until Sunday, April 16.

Of course, the seasonal sale also includes great deals across a number of Easter accessories that are perfect for any picnics or garden parties some might be considering hosting this year.

IKEA family members will also receive an additional 25 percent off with the retailer's Buyback and Resell scheme. (IKEA)

Some highlights include the GARNERA serving Stand, which has been reduced by a third from £15 to £10 and the SMAKGLAD cutlery set, which has been slashed from £29 to just £20.

That's not all, as the DIY giant also has another exciting offer up its sleeve for anyone who chooses to sell pre-loved furniture through its popular Buyback and Resell scheme.

Starting in-store and online from Friday, March 31 until Sunday, April 30, the retailer will be offering any IKEA family member who sells old items through the scheme an additional 25 percent off to spend in-store and online.

The additional offer will be added to members refund cards, which can then be used in-store and online. All IKEA gift cards don't have an expiry date, which means you can use the incentive at any point you need to.

A few examples that IKEA family members can receive include :

  • £31 for an old MALM chest of four drawers in like-new condition
  • £40 for an old BILLY bookcase in good condition with minor scratches
  • £24 for a well-used KALLAX shelving unit with several scratches

The IKEA Easter sale is available in-stores and online now until Sunday, April 16. The Buyback and Resell Scheme will be available from Friday, March 31 until Sunday, April 30.

Shoppers can sign up to be part of the IKEA family for free to begin receiving exclusive offers throughout the year, alongside access to in-store workshops and events.
