According to IGL's revised prices, the cost of CNG is ₹79.56 per kg in Delhi, Rs.82.12 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. ₹87.89 per kg in Gurugram. The rates in Delhi rose by 96 paise after a gap of two months. This is the 15th increase in price since March 7 in Delhi.
In October, the prices of CNG in the national capital were hiked by ₹3 for the same reason. The ₹3 per kg increase in CNG price was he first hike in rates in over four months. In October, the cost of CNG gas in Delhi stood at ₹78.61 per kg. The CNG prices in Delhi have gone up by more than ₹20 in the past nine months. In March this year, the CNG price was around ₹58 in Delhi, while it will be priced at ₹79.56 from Saturday (17 December).
In all, the CNG price has risen by ₹23.56 per kg since 7 March. Since April 2021, CNG prices have increased by ₹36.17 per kg or 80%, according to data compiled by PTI.
