Idrissa Gueye's prospective return to Everton is said to be in its 'final stages' according to reports from France.
The 32-year-old has not featured for current side Paris Saint-Germain this campaign amid a reunion with the Blues. His current deal with the Ligue 1 side expires next summer.
Frank Lampard has already added six new faces to his playing squad with the obvious aim of improving upon last season's disappointing campaign.

According to French journalist Abdellah Boulma, the deal is now said to be close to being finalised ahead of Thursday's 11pm European deadline.
Gueye joined joined Everton from Aston Villa on a four-year deal in August 2016, before departing for French giants PSG in 2019 where he has remained ever since.
The Blues chose to go with the midfield pairing of Alexander Iwobi and Amadou Onana against Brighton this weekend, with Anthony Gordon scoring in the 1-1 draw.
Lampard's side face off against Leeds United this evening hoping to record their first domestic victory of the campaign.
