A CCTV clip has captured the moment a man walks up to a house on a quiet road in Llandaff, picks up a heavy coping stone off the front wall, and throws it into the road. The resident of the house has been left confused as to why someone would do such a thing.
The resident told WalesOnline: "I didn't notice until I left to pick my wife up after a 13 hour night shift at the UHW. We haven't replaced the stone as we haven't had time to go out to buy one.

"We'd just like to ask the idiot why he did it? What satisfaction did he gain from doing it?" In the video, the man walks up to the house and tries to lift the coping stone off the wall of the front porch. It appears to be a bit heavy for him, but he manages to lift it.
He then walks down the street and throws it out into the road just behind a car. It doesn't spend much time in the air before thudding to the ground and cracking.
The CCTV footage was recorded at around 8.30pm on Friday, October 14. The resident has opted not to formally complain to the police over the incident.
