The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes on Sunday targeting a Hezbollah military compound and command center in southern Lebanon. According to an IDF statement, the military operation struck a military compound housing seven structures belonging to Hezbollah's Radwan Forces in the Khiam area. Additionally, a military command center of Hezbollah in the Toura area of southern Lebanon's Tyre district was also hit.
Earlier on Sunday, the IDF responded to launches fired towards the Golan Heights area and Manara by targeting the sources of the fire in Kawkaba and Meiss El Jabal in southern Lebanon.
In response, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacks on Manara in Israel and on Israel's Yoav camp in the Golan Heights. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli warplanes destroyed a house in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon during the raid on Sunday afternoon. NNA also reported bombings on the outskirts of Sarira in the Jezzine region of southern Lebanon.
