ICS Co, the developer and operator of the ICS mixed-use lifestyle town project, has teamed up with Siriraj Hospital to launch Thailand's first comprehensive health service centre outside the hospital.
Supoj Chaiwatsirikul, managing director of ICS Co, the developer and operator of the ICS project, which is controlled by the owners of Iconsiam, said Siriraj H Solutions will open inside the shopping centre. It will be located in a 3,000-square-metre space on the fifth floor of the ICS project.
Visit Vamvanij, director of Siriraj Hospital, said the hospital will invest 200 million baht in Siriraj H Solutions, with construction scheduled to start in January next year and a planned opening in July 2023. The healthy lifestyle centre expects to attract around 1,000 customers per day, with opening hours between 6am and 10pm.
The centre will be operated under the concept of a "smart medical centre with easy accessibility". It will focus on healthcare before illness and provides personalised medical services from a convenient location that is accessible by car, boat or rail.
Prof Dr Apichat Asavamongkolkul, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, said Siriraj H Solutions, a collaboration between the university and ICS, pursues the concept of a decentralised health centre that is geared towards easy and convenient access for patients, which matches the lifestyle of younger generations.
The facility emphasises the concept of "Healthy First", which stipulates that success in life begins with good health. Dr Apichat said the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital strives to be a model to induce Thai people to pay greater attention to their physical and mental well-being before they get sick.
At the centre, a team from the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital will act as "health coaches" with innovation and technology certified to medical standards. They will provide bespoke healthcare services and integrate treatment data seamlessly, according to Dr Apichat.
Dr Visit said that Siriraj H Solutions is focused on "happy-healthy-holistic": being a proactive health centre that provides innovative check-ups, preventive treatment, mind and body balance, enhancements and therapeutic care, and revitalisation and anti-ageing techniques.
