Nick Cave is to make his first Bristol appearance in 17 years. The iconic singer/songwriter last visited the city in February 2005 when he performed at the Bristol Beacon (then known as Colston Hall).
Cave is currently in the middle of a world tour with his band The Bad Seeds but he will appear at Bristol’s tiny Rough Trade record store near Broadmead. He’ll be there to sign copies of Faith, Hope and Carnage, a new book written with journalist Seán O’Hagan.
Drawn from over 40 hours of interviews, Faith, Hope and Carnage is a book about Cave’s inner life over the last six years, a meditation on big ideas including, faith, art, music, grief and much more. He will appear at the Bristol store at 5pm on Saturday, September 24, and tickets are £20 from here, which includes entry for one person and a copy of Faith, Hope and Carnage, to collect at the event.
