Images show dozens of TV crews bustling around the end of Iona Street and a section of Leith Walk as they filmed a number of scenes for the upcoming series of the thriller.
Robbie's traditional pub is transformed into 'the Boundary Bar' for the filming with new name signs being placed on the windows. The Boundary - so called because it straddled the boundary between Leith and Edinburgh - was an infamous watering hole further down Leith Walk - now known as the Bier Hoose.
Guilt follows two brothers who seem to get away with a crime - but soon discover they can trust no one, including each other, in the pitch-black, contemporary series.
The programme is based in the Leith area of Edinburgh although the majority of scenes are filmed in Glasgow.
Edinburgh residents were buzzing to spot the local Leith street being used as a set and shared their excitement online.
One local said: "Wondered what they were up to, I was just waiting on a 25 and saw a bunch if cameras."
Another added: "Love how they are pretending the boundary bar is Robbies." While one said: "Brilliant series, can’t wait to watch it."
