An iconic Edinburgh hotel is reportedly being set up for a £100million sale.
The Sheraton Grand Hotel, on Festival Square, is believed to have been "primed for sale" for the eye-watering amount.
The city centre hotel is located beside the financial district of Edinburgh and popular with tourists, with rooms giving jaw-dropping views of the castle and beyond.

According to The Herald, an advisor has been appointed to sell the hotel that is visited by thousands of people each year which boasts hundreds of rooms.
The inn has many luxury features and is spread across seven floors with 257 rooms, 12 suites, 13 meeting rooms, one restaurant, one bar, one pool and one whirlpool.
The hotel also has a selection of magnificent rooms such as The Grand Suite - Master Bedroom. Prices for hotel rooms start from £283 per night.

Marriott who own the Sheraton Grand hotel have a impressive portfolio of countless brands, including more than 8,000 properties across 139 countries and territories.
Marriott have been approached for comment on the sale of the hotel.
