Fans of EastEnders have been left shocked after iconic family, the DiMarcos, have been spotted reuniting on a lunch together. The family - which included brothers Beppe (Michael Greco) and Gianni (Marc Bannerman), younger sisters Teresa (Leila Birth) and Nicky (Carly Hillman) and widowed matriarch Rosa (Louise Jamieson) - were first introduced on the BBC One soap opera in 1998.
Beppe actor Michael Greco shared a photo of the soap family smiling for a photo as they enjoyed a steak and wine dinner. He captioned the Twitter post: “Not seen this lot for 25 years! My Eastenders mum and sisters. Was incredible to catch up them all and go down memory lane. @Lou_Jameson Di Marco family.”
With his on-screen sisters, Birth and Hillman looking like they did in their Albert Square heyday, now Emmerdale star, Jameson was looking amazing, too. The only DiMarco missing was Marc Bannerman, who went on to star in a string of TV shows including 2007's I'm A Celebrity and iconic drama Footballers' Wives.

A third wrote: "Should never of [sic] written you out there was some good scope for some good storylines before you left looking great guys." A fourth commented: "DI Marcos should come back to the Square. It’s never been the same."
The departure of the DiMarcos ushered in the arrival of the Slaters, who are still on screen to this day. The family members went on to star in a number of other TV and film productions.
Louise joined rival soap Emmerdale in 2022 as Mary Goskirk. Prior to her EastEnders debut, she notably played Doctor Who companion Leela during Tom Baker’s run as the Time Lord - read more about Louise here.
Michael appeared on the celebrity version of Love Island in 2005. He also became a big deal on the live poker circuit, with his tournament winnings thought to total nearly £500,000.
Following his EastEnders stint, Marc went on to star in a string of other TV shows including 2007's I'm A Celebrity and iconic ITV drama Footballers' Wives. Leila, meanwhile, is now based in the US where she has bagged a range of exciting roles.
