Iceland fans have been getting excited over a new item set to arrive on shelves in the near future, which has been dubbed as 'pure nostalgia'.
The supermarket, which is well-known for frozen food and snacks, is set to introduce a familiar name which was popular in the 90s, but with a fresh twist.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Hubba Bubba will be making an appearance on shelves - but not as a bubble gum.
This week, dedicated foodie account Newfoodsuk shared the new snack that's coming to Iceland on its Facebook and Instagram pages. According to the social media account, Hubba Bubba-flavoured lolly ices "should be in all stores next week".
Hubba Bubba bubble-gum was popular in the 90s, with flavours such as Sour Green Apple and Seriously Strawberry.
It is the first time that the nostalgic snack has been sold as a frozen treat and is said to be exclusively available in Iceland. They will reportedly come in a pack of four for £2.99, according to the Grocery Gazette.
Replying to the news of the lolly's arrival on Instagram, one happy shopper said: "These look lush," while another said: "Pure nostalgia mate, just need the weather for it now".
A third said: "What a throwback," and while tagging a friend a fourth added: "Ohh we need to take a trip to Iceland".
