Shoppers are heaping praise on Iceland for bringing back a 90s snack they say is 'pure nostalgia'. The £3.50 snack is on supermarket shelves now, and people can't wait to try it for a nostalgic blast to the past.
Hubba Bubba was a popular brand of chewing gum back in the 90s, and became something of an iconic treat thanks to its long roll design. Now Hubba Bubba is making a comeback in an entirely new form.
From this week, Iceland stores will be selling ice lolly versions of the 90s treat. The retro Iceland snack was spotted by Newfoodsuk, which posted it on both Instagram and Facebook last week.

Hubba Bubba-flavoured lolly ices, it said, "should be in all stores next week". The bubble-gum was popular in the 90s, and was available in flavours such as Sour Green Apple and Seriously Strawberry.
It is the first time that the nostalgic snack has been turned into a frozen treat and they are said to be exclusively available in Iceland stores as a pack of four for £3.50, reports the ECHO. Replying to the news of the lolly's arrival on Instagram, one happy shopper said: "These look lush", while another said: "Pure nostalgia mate, just need the weather for it now".
A third said: "What a throwback". Tagging a friend, a fourth added: "Ohh we need to take a trip to Iceland" [sic].
