Iceland shoppers 'need' £2 snack inspired by nostalgic childhood favourite

Iceland shoppers 'can't wait to try' a nostalgic new snack after spotting it online.

The popular supermarket chain boasts an array of frozen food items for shoppers to choose from, including party food, pizzas and desserts. Iceland often has new and unique snacks in store that catch the attention of shoppers.

This time, it was a new twist the nostalgic Space Raiders crisps that caused a stir among shoppers. Iceland has revealed it will be launching a new range of Space Raiders pickled onion flavoured onion rings, which will be priced at £2 a pack.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Iceland wrote: "If you love pickled onions we have something very special for you. They are out of this world, literally! Space Raiders Onion Rings, landing on planet Earth very soon!"

The post quickly amassed over 900 likes, with many shoppers taking to the comments section to share their thoughts and excitedly tag their friends. One person said: "can't wait to try."

Someone else commented: "Kid me is going crazy! Adult me is intrigued." Another person added: "need to buy." One fan added: "Omg, what a blast from the past loved these."
