Iceland shoppers have been left shocked after discovering how much a Christmas meal will cost this year.
With the cost of living crisis impacting everyone's lives, people are desperately attempting to cut their bills in whatever way they can. Frozen food supermarket giant Iceland has now left consumers in awe after they double-checked their receipts after purchasing their Christmas meal.
With their new deal, Iceland is offering to feed a family of eight for only £28. If everyone at the table chipped in for the meal, it works out at only £3.50 a head.

The deal is an online exclusive and won't be available for long as it ends in just a few days. Sides include pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, roast potato, mash, cauliflower cheese, veg and gravy with the meat joint only costing £20.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Ellie Shackleton shared the deal, as she said: "I understand that you can't beat Fresh, but in todays climate, I thought this frozen pack for Christmas day could be a great buy for some families. Everything you need to feed a family of 6 for £28!"
Kim Ware said: "I ordered this online and received it yesterday, I usually get my Christmas joints from M&S and thought that this would probably be a small joint, I was really impressed with everything I received and a joint that size would have cost around £30-£35 on its own from anywhere else. I know it's frozen but I usually get my joints earlier anyway before they put the prices up so they go in the freezer anyway."
Elizabeth Dawes said: "There is a proper turkey in the deal if you look at all that is on offer. For some people this is a good idea and people should remember to be kind, if you don’t like it or don’t think it’s a good deal then move on."
Some people pointed out that ASDA are doing an Xmas dinner deal that's even cheaper, Manchester Evening News reported. Vanessa Wade-Brooks added "Asda are doing one for £20."
You can shop Iceland's Christmas dinner deals here. You can only get the deal online, and it's only available for a few more days.
