Iceland shoppers excited as nostalgic 90s brand snack to appear in stores

Iceland shoppers have been excited to see a popular 90s brand will soon land in store freezers. The supermarket is well known for its popular products, with customers often keen to snap up everything from baked goods to pizza and desserts.

Now, one new Iceland item has been shared online as reported by Liverpool Echo, and shoppers are keen to get their hands on it. This week, dedicated foodie account Newfoodsuk shared a new snack or dessert from Iceland on its Facebook and Instagram pages.

Hubba Bubba-flavoured lolly ices, it said, "should be in all stores next week". The bubble-gum was popular in the 90s, and was available in flavours such as Sour Green Apple and Seriously Strawberry.

It is the first time that the nostalgic snack has been turned into a frozen treat and they are said to be exclusively available in Iceland stores as a pack of four for £2.99, reports the Grocery Gazette.

Replying to the news of the lolly's arrival on Instagram, one happy shopper said: "These look lush", while another said: "Pure nostalgia mate, just need the weather for it now".

A third said: "What a throwback", and tagging a friend a fourth added: "Ohh we need to take a trip to Iceland" [sic].
