Shoppers at Iceland have been going wild in the aisles for Kelly’s American Style Jam Donuts and are pleading with the budget supermarket to carry on stocking them.
Traditionally known for frozen products, from pizzas to breaded chicken, fish, desserts, chips and everything else you can whack in your Beko, the new bakery items in store have gone down a treat with their loyal customers. And the new range has also been getting rave reviews on line, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Like other similar shops, Iceland regularly adds new items to its stock, and the doughnuts – made in Wexford, in Ireland – have set pulses racing, in the store and and online. They come in packs of five and cost £1.50, or £1.25 when purchased as part of a two for £2.50 offer.
Leaving a five-star review, one happy customer said: “Best doughnuts I’ve had in a while! Fresh and tasty. Will keep getting these.”
A second added: “My husband loves theses doughnuts, buy them every week, so please keep stocking them Iceland”, while a third added: “My favourite doughnuts, lovely and soft and so tasty – keep stocking and l will keep buying, they also stay fresh for more than one day, unlike other doughnuts which go stale very quickly”.

A fourth wrote: “I love these Kelly’s Donuts, always fresh. They are better donuts then any other supermarket, the only thing is that you have to get in there early to get these donuts before they sell out, but yes love these donuts”.
