Iceland reveal new giant Cadbury Creme Egg dessert but shoppers are divided

Iceland have announced that a new supersized Cadbury Creme Egg product will be hitting shelves, and shoppers have been quick to share their thoughts.

Starting this week, the supermarket chain will be stocking the new Cadbury Creme Egg Dessert for £6.

According to the product description, the dessert consists of a "white chocolate mousse with a Creme Egg fondant centre in a Cadbury chocolate shell".

Sharing details of the new item to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one excited shopper said: "New Giant Cadbury Creme Egg Dessert out this week at for £6 at Iceland!"

Before long, the post had attracted over 1,200 likes and nearly 3,000 comments from fellow consumers — who were divided in their assessment of the dessert.

Some users we excited about the launch of the product, with one writing: "I sat looking at it...drooling lmao"

"I need this," a second stated.

A third joked: "Well. There goes the diet...."

"That looks way too nice," another commented.

A fifth agreed: "Looks lush".

"That looks good," echoed a sixth.

However, not everyone was keen on the new dessert.

"No really an egg now is it," one argued, taking issue with the shape of the item.

"Anything Creme Egg is bloody awful," wrote a second.

"Looks vile," a third simply said.

"Oh that's grim," a fourth agreed alongside a vomiting emoji.

"Bet that will be sickly," shared another.
