After being shared on Facebook group News Food UK, thousands of people commented on it, tagging friends and family to share the news.
Along with a picture of the packet, it was captioned: "New Hash Brown Onion Rings!! These are pretty good! It’s diced onion rather than an actual onion ring, but still very tasty! Now available online at Iceland"
But some questioned the product: "So it's a ring shaped hash brown?"
Whilst an excited fan said: "Solid yes from me."
"They look delicious," another replied.
And a fourth said: "they’d be so good n i don’t even like onion rings."
"Mate, like my two faves things together," said another tagging a pal.
