Iceland is selling a ‘double decker’ pizza inspired by Joey Tribbiani from Friends

Fans of Friends, we've got some news that's going to make your day.

Supermarket chain Iceland has launched the ultimate tribute to Joey Tribbiani from the hit series: a brand new double decker pizza inspired by ‘the Joey special’.

The cheesy treat has not one but two thin and crispy bases - and it’s available to buy now in stores and online. You can find out your nearest Iceland by using its store finder tool here.

Hungry shoppers can currently choose from two options, including the Double Decker Pepperoni Pizza and the Double Decker BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza - both costing £3 each.

The pepperoni version features lashings of tomato and chilli sauce between the bases and the top is loaded with creamy mozzarella and mini pepperoni.

Meanwhile, the second choice includes a sweet and tangy sauce between the two bases, as well as cheddar, red cheese, chicken breast and bacon pieces on top.

Speaking of the new pizza range, Iceland commented: "Fans of the hit TV show Friends can now channel their inner Tribbiani and gorge on the greatest thing to happen to Italian cuisine since… pizza."

In other food news, the Co-op has launched a £15 Valentine’s Day meal deal that includes steak and Prosecco.

The offer includes a starter, main, side, dessert and bottle of fizz, all for only £15. It will land in Co-op stores nationwide on February 10th and runs until February 16th.

And McVitie’s now does ‘fully coated’ chocolate biscuits - including the much-loved Digestives and Hob Nobs.
