Iceland is giving away £5,000 worth of vouchers to spend on your Christmas food shop

Supermarket chain Iceland has announced it will be giving away £5,000 worth of vouchers in a festive competition this Christmas.

Iceland will be giving 10 lucky winners each a £500 voucher to spend on a festive shop from the supermarket.

This year the frozen food specialist has teamed up with Slade star and Christmas legend Noddy Holder for their festive campaign.

Noddy, who had a Christmas hit in 1973 with Merry Xmas Everybody, featured in Iceland’s Christmas ad which was released earlier this month.

But the frozen food retailer wouldn’t let him scream his famous "it's Christmas!" line.

Noddy’s 1973 hit is a perennial radio staple throughout December and feels like a key part of the British Christmas season.

The competition is being run exclusively on social media and to enter you will need to share your impression on Instagram or Tiktok using the hashtag #LandOfItsChristmas.

Iceland says you will need to pull out all the stops and stand out as the most creative and passionate performances will be awarded the festive prize.

If you want a chance to win, you will need to get started on your rendition as you will need to submit your video by Tuesday, December 20 with the winner set to be announced the day after.

If you’ve impressed Iceland’s judges then you will be contacted through the social media platform you have posted your entry.

If you bag the prize, Iceland says you can combine the vouchers with any of the supermarket's cost-saving deals this Christmas.
