
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently announced that they have made a total of 1,179 arrests and lodged 853 detainers as part of their ongoing enforcement efforts. These arrests are a result of a broader initiative to strengthen immigration enforcement by involving various federal agencies with extended immigration authority under the current administration.
The enforcement operations, which began in multiple cities across the nation, saw 956 arrests on a single day. ICE updates the arrest numbers daily, starting at midnight.


According to ICE's report, their Enforcement and Removal Operations conducted a total of 113,431 administrative arrests in the fiscal year that ended in October 2024. This averages to approximately 310 arrests per day.
These recent enforcement actions highlight ICE's continued efforts to uphold immigration laws and ensure national security. The agency remains committed to enforcing immigration policies and addressing violations to maintain public safety.
