Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate is a major doubt for France's World Cup final showdown with Argentina on Sunday after becoming the latest player suffering with a sickness bug.
Adrien Rabiot and Dayot Upamecano were the first players in Didier Deschamps' squad to be affected by a virus that is sweeping the camp, ensuring they played no part in Les Blues' semi-final victory versus Morocco.
Seemingly spiralling out of control among the players, Manchester United defender Raphael Varane - in addition to Konate - are believed to be the latest two who have become infected.

Such news will come as a significant blow to Konate, having performed to such a high standard against Morocco to hand himself a strong chance of featuring in the final. There are also concerns over Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, as recently revealed by Deschamps.
“Coman also had a fever this morning," he said. "In Doha, the temperatures have dropped a bit and you still have air conditioning on all the time. We have had a few cases of flu-like symptoms. We are trying to be careful so that it does not spread and the players have put in a great effort on the pitch and obviously their immune systems suffer.”
