New Delhi: Shashi Prakash Goyal, a 1989 batch IAS officer, has been sitting on the most important chair of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the last more than seven years, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

NOC issued to Goyal
SP Goyal was issued an NOC (No Objection Certificate) two months ago to go on Central Government deputation in Delhi, but he has not yet moved out of Lucknow.

Mystery surrounds
The mystery surrounding SP Goyal is deepening due to his not going on deputation to the Central Government even after the NOC was issued to him two months ago. It has created a lot of speculations of all kinds.

A big question
A big question is echoing in the power corridors regarding SP Goyal. The question is whether someone has obstructed the appointment of SP Goyal in Delhi or Goyal himself does not want to leave Lucknow? Various power holders are speculating the answer to this question as per their own interpretations.

Most trusted officer
Goyal is considered to be the most trusted officer of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under the circumstances, it is being speculated that he wants to remain on this important chair in Uttar Pradesh and he is not interested in going to Delhi.

Many favourite officers
It is also said that there are a large number of favourite officers of Shashi Prakash Goyal in the UP bureaucracy who want to see Goyal in UP only.

Important post
Goyal has been holding the most important post of Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for more than seven years. He still has about two and a half years left for his retirement.

Now it will be interesting to see whether SP Goyal goes to Delhi on deputation or stays in Lucknow only?
