Ianis Hagi has shut down talk over a Rangers summer exit as he admitted: 'It's just noise that I can't control'.
The Light Blues attacker is continuing to work his way back from a long-term injury as he bids to force his way into Michael Beale's plans. The Ibrox club are set for a major summer revamp with a number of ins and outs to come. A number of big name players like Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander are out of contract while Scott Wright and Jon McLaughlin, both on the fringes, have been linked with exits.
Jack Butland, Morgan Whittaker and Kieran Dowell are just a few of the names mentioned as ones coming in alongside January recruits Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin but Hagi is another who has been liked with the likes of Celta Vigo and Galatasaray. However, the Romanian penned an extended deal in December as he bids to be fit and firing for the Champions League qualifiers next season as he expressed his love for the club and fans.

Hagi said: “I can’t control stuff that comes from outside. The only thing I can control is what I do every day. I love being at this football club. I love the fans so much, as they probably know. One thing is for sure, I’ve got seven games left this season [five for Rangers] and then I need to have a really strong off-season ahead of our Champions League qualifiers.
“So that’s what I’m focused on. I can’t control the noise outside. I’ve signed for Rangers and committed my future to the club in December by signing a contract extension.
“What else can I say? It’s just noise that I can’t control.
“What I can say to the fans is that I’m committed to getting back to full fitness as soon as possible so I can play for this club as much as possible. Pulling that shirt on and playing minutes for Rangers. That’s what makes me happy.”
