Ianis Hagi details his Rangers summer plans as he makes 'one hundred percent' vow

Ianis Hagi won't be taking a break over the summer and has vowed to be 100 percent in all aspects come pre-season.

The Rangers star is working his way back to full match fitness following 13 months on the sidelines. It was a tough period for the Romanian who could't contain his emotion after firing his first goal in 16 months against Hibs at Easter Road.

The Light Blues face a big summer of change as Michael Beale begins putting his stamp on the side. Important games arrive very quickly with the Champions League qualifiers taking centre stage over the summer plus the Ibrox men will want to make a flying start in the Scottish Premiership in a bid to dethrone Celtic and Ange Postecoglou.

The domestic campaign ends this coming weekend for Rangers but while a number of his team-mates will take time off to rest up, the attacker says after his period of over a year out - that is enough for him and he will work hard before pre-season goes back and focus on what he has to get better at so when he returns he is raring to go.

He said: “I am looking forward to everything, the challenges are ahead of us.

“We’re not going to look back on what happened this season, we have two games to go and our duty is to win those two games then get into the summer.

“Everyone will take some time off, others will train more than they have to - I will do that 100%, I have been out for 13 months and that’s enough for me away from football!

“I won’t take too much time off, I am going to focus on what I have to get better at.

“And come pre-season I want to be one hundred percent in all aspects.

“We have challenges, we have qualifiers and want to get back to the biggest stage in football, the Champions League and win some trophies.”
