Ianis Hagi delivers Rangers four word verdict after hugely emotional first goal in 16 months

Ianis Hagi delivered a four word message following his first Rangers goal in 16 months.

The Light Blues attacker has been battling back from long-term injury and has started building up his first team minutes under Michael Beale as he bids to get himself back to his top levels. A huge Ibrox summer overhaul is already underway with the Ibrox men set to officially announce who is leaving the club in the coming days. Beale also confirmed the club could announce a new arrival on Wednesday at Ibrox with Hearts making the trip to Glasgow in the penultimate game of the campaign.

One man who will be determined to be a key feature in the new era is Hagi after a long road to his big Easter Road moment.

James Tavernier caught David Marshall out with a clever free-kick to open the scoring before the Romanian fired home a second for the visitors - much to the delight of the travelling support. Todd Cantwell added a third before a late consolation for the hosts.

Taking to social media after his hugely emotional moment, Hagi uploaded a picture of his strike alongside the caption: "It's all worth it."

A number of past and present team-mates took to Instagram to send messages of support including Ridvan Yilmaz, Nikola Katic, Amad Diallo and Leon Balogun.

Rangers welcome Hearts to Ibrox of Wednesday night for the final home game of the season under the lights before they travel to St Mirren at the weekend to bring the curtain down on their season.
