Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt would not be overly drawn on speculation his side have their eye on Cambridge United defender Jack Iredale this summer transfer window as work progresses behind the scenes on the club's planned business.
The 25-year-old is out of contract at the U's this summer and appears to be attracting interest in his services.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Wanderers are among a few sides reported to be interested in the defender.

Championship side Preston North End and League One leaders Wigan Athletic are also credited with an interest if he does depart the Abbey Stadium.
The left-back has been played out of position at times this season, at centre-back and as a holding midfielder, and has drawn high praise for his performances.
If he does move to Bolton, he could prove to be a useful option to have in all three areas of the pitch, providing competition for Declan John on the left flank and MJ Williams in the middle of the park, as well as complement options in the heart of defence.
Speaking this afternoon ahead of tomorrow's encounter versus Doncaster Rovers, Evatt was not drawn on Iredale specifically, owing to the player still being a Cambridge player.
But he said a lot of work is taking place behind the scenes as Wanderers plan to strengthen in this summer's transfer window.
Evatt told the Manchester Evening News : “People that are still attached to football clubs, it would be really disrespectful of me to speak about any individuals.
“But as I said, there’s lots of work happening behind the scenes on recruitment. There’s conversations taking place.
“You guys will have to wait and see as to who we bring in.”
