Ian Burchnall has warned his Notts County players to expect a challenging fixture when his side visit Woking on Saturday.
The Magpies currently sit eighth in the National League with a game in hand on the team above them as they chase promotion this season.
Notts will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing 1-1 at home to Halifax on Tuesday night, despite playing against 10 men for nearly an hour after Jack Senior was sent off for the away side in the 36th minute.
This weekend's opponents, Woking, are currently 15th and winless in their past six matches but despite the Magpies facing a team struggling for form, Burchnall is wary of the threat that they pose.
He said: "I think when we talk about physicality, they are a team that will come with a lot of that. They're very strong, physical and a very direct team.
"They are strong on set pieces, and they are quite relentless in the way they play. They go back to front quickly, and they move the team up quickly. They pick second balls and they're very, very aggressive. They do it very well.
"They haven't started well, but we saw they came here and for 70 minutes, we had absolute control of the game. And then in like an eight-minute crazy spell, we got caught with a couple of set pieces and we saw the threats that they can offer.
"It can be a very difficult away team to go to. They haven't started 2022 well, but I think that they'll be hungry to try and show themselves again."
Despite recent mixed results, Burcnhall believes his team are playing well as they look to turn performances into wins.
He added: "I think we have good momentum in terms of performance. Since the Grimsby game, we consider Barnet, Eastleigh, Halifax away and then Halifax at home, the performance levels have been good.
"We just have to maintain that now. But Woking are a very, different prospect to perhaps what Halifax gave us in terms of style of play. We just have to make sure that we're ready and we adapt.
"We've got to make sure that we can cope with the physicality that they bring."
