IAN Blackford has joined a "show of unity" by local Yes, SNP and Alba activists in Skye.
The former Westminster leader was photographed alongside the Yes Skye and Lochalsh, SNP Skye and Lochalsh and Alba Highland at their street stalls in Portree for the Believe in Scotland national Day of Action.
The groups had previously received praise online for uniting to campaign.
A National Day of Action was held throughout Scotland on Saturday, with another set for August 12. A march and rally for an independent Scotland in the EU will take place on Saturday, September 2 in Edinburgh.
In an announcement on Tuesday, the Yes group said it was delighted the two parties had agreed to campaign together on a local level.
Carole Inglis Yes Skye and Lochalsh coordinator told The National: “Today was a turning point for us in Skye & Lochalsh. We helped each other put up stalls, Yes. SNP and Alba, and renewed old friendships. Time to believe in Scotland, to put differences aside, and come together for the greater goal of independence.”
