Liverpool fans took to the streets in their numbers on Sunday to welcome home the players, despite heartbreak in the Champions League final.
Jurgen Klopp's side were defeated 1-0 by Real Madrid at the Stade de France on Saturday, but received a heroes welcome when they returned to Merseyside. The disappointment in Paris was a mere distant memory when the bus turned onto the Strand and was engulfed by a sea of red.
The Carabao Cup and FA Cup were displayed to fans watching on as they celebrated the efforts of the players this season. The turnout didn't go unnoticed as many in the squad took to social media to thank supporters for the unrivalled support.

Midfielder Thiago admitted he was left 'speechless' by the scenes across the City, while Andy Robertson said the reception 'meant everything' to the players, who have fought relentlessly on all fronts across the campaign.
Captain Jordan Henderson said on Twitter: "Didn't think it would of been possible after last night but today was one of the best days of my life. Thank you Reds."
Goalkeeper Adrian also shared a video on board the bus with the caption: "I will NEVER delete this video. YNWA."
Youngster Harvey Elliott also took to Instagram with a story saying: "I have no words. What I experienced today is something that'll stick with me forever. Liverpool fans... the greatest ever."
Takumi Minamino, who played a crucial role in the club's domestic cup double, added: "Thank you for all your support over the long season. With everyone's support we've been able to come this far. Today was a wonderful day."
Klopp himself also sent a passionate message to supporters amid the celebrations. The Liverpool boss told LFC TV: “It’s absolutely outstanding. This is the best club in the world, I don’t care what other people think."
