When you arrive at an airport early, you tend to treat yourself to breakfast or at least a coffee while you’re waiting for your flight. We all anticipate prices to be slightly more expensive compared to your local cafe, but one woman didn't expect to pay almost £3 just for one teabag.
Chez Kane shared a TikTok video about her expensive cost of one teabag at Bristol Airport. In the clip, one of her friends asked her “how much did you pay for that teabag Chez?". To which she responds: “It was the most expensive teabag of my life, £2.89.”
The camera then pans to her friends, who say it's 'unacceptable', while another mate says he was able to buy a whole double pack of Maryland cookies for just £1. From the video, it appears she made her purchase in a shop rather than a cafe and had to add the hot water to her teabag herself.

She finished the video by saying she thought she was paying more for the packaging than the teabag,
In the comments section, people joked she should’ve taken her own tea bags with her, with one person writing: “Rookie move, should always have teabags and coffee in your tour bag.” Another person wrote: “Always carry teabags and just ask for hot water.”
Bristol Airport has been approached for comment.
