Walking into Barneys Bargains the question should not be what you need but what you want.
The discount warehouse just off Hartley Avenue in Aintree is packed with everything from mattresses to chocolate and raspberry tarts. From the outside, it looks like a garden centre, with wooden pallets and artificial grass on display in the car park.
Entering the warehouse it seems like a normal shop, there are lunch items if you're feeling hungry and, if you fancy a tipple, there's Kronenbourg beer on offer for £10.99. But with Barneys Bargains you only need to walk around for a moment to realise this is no normal shop.

Barneys Bargains offers nearly everything you can imagine, it is the kind of place where you will go in for a food shop and come out with a couch. The shop is split roughly into three sections, food and garden ware, clothing and homeware, and landscaping.
However, there are some surprises mixed in there you can also pick up wallpaper, rugs, movie posters, and clothes. For first-time shoppers, it might be an attack on the senses.
Barneys Bargains also stocks well-known and more expensive food brands like Yorkshire Tea and Kenco Coffee. The aisles are filled with food, from Kellogg's cereal, Walkers crisps, and Cadbury chocolate bars, many of which were lower than the recommended retail price.

The bargain warehouse also has a full range of clothes for women including summer dresses, skirts, and blazers. You would be hard-pressed to find an item over £30. For men, it has a host of workwear items and a selection of trainers. However, the most surprising thing on offer is a mattress retailing at just £38
Even further on from there was a section with furniture such as couches, dressing tables, lamps and more. In the home section, there's a large area dedicated to artificial flowers, including pampas grass, and floral bouquets.
Shoppers could get lost at Barneys Bargains for hours, but if you're still unsure about making the trip just head down you will not regret it.
