Muireann O'Connell is one of Ireland's most beautiful TV presenters, but even she faces uncomfortable comments about her appearance.
The Ireland AM host, 39, told her followers on Instagram that she has gone "back to the treadmill" after a throwaway comment she received when she met a viewer in real life.
Muireann posted a video of herself running on the treadmill and revealed what the woman said to her that made her go back to the gym.

The Virgin Media presenter wrote: "'A woman said to me the other day. 'it's you! I didn't recognise you. You look fatter on the telly'…Back to the treadmill it is!".
While many would have taken offence to such a rude remark, Muireann seemed to see the funny side and said that the woman was "lovely" and "meant no harm at all".
Muireann has 104k followers on her social media and has always been admired for her honesty with her fans.
She has admitted in the past that weight gain was "really getting her down" and that, regardless of size, it is something that can "affect everyone".
However, the broadcaster said she often has to deal with harsh comments from time-to-time as a result.
In a recent interview with the Irish Examiner she opened up about ditching the stigma and embarrassment surrounding the word 'period'. She said: "I have posted about my period on my Instagram before and had responses that it was 'inappropriate.'"
But she doesn't let the comments get to her and is always ready to share snippets of her life and her incredible style with followers.
Most days Muireann will share her work outfits and life outfits with fans, and she always looks amazing whether she's wearing a glamorous dress for the telly or a comfy oversized knit when she's chilling at home.
