'I waxed my daughter's face because of bullies - trolls disagree but it's her choice'

A mum has hit back at trolls who call her 'obnoxious' for letting her daughter wax her facial hair after getting teased at school. The Pease Family, which consists of mum Ashley, dad Steve and their five children, often post videos from their daily life on TikTok and YouTube to thousands of followers.

Recently, Ashley took drastic action when she discovered one of her daughters was being teased in school, and it was met from judgement from trolls. However, Ashley has hit back at the critics, saying it's her daughter's choice.

In a Tiktok video, Ashley explained: "Okay guys so we're about to wax the middle of Giselle's eyebrows and she said people in school are teasing her about her moustache... she doesn't even have a moustache."

She continued: "She just has a little bit of hair. Every girl just has a little bit of hair right here.

"But we're going to wax it. Because she wants a wax. So let's do this."

Ashley, who wanted to support her daughter's wishes, applied wax to the middle of Giselle's eyebrows.

After three attempts, she goes in with tweezers because "those hairs are not coming out".

The mum then applies makes several attempts to wax the hair on her daughter's upper lip.

After being unsuccessful, Ashley says: "We're just going to have to go to professionals to get it done because this wax is not working."

Many in the comment section did not agree that Ashley should let her daughter wax her facial hair, one person even calling her 'obnoxious'.

One person said: "Parents need to be teaching their kids to be kind instead of them having to wax their kid's eyebrows because of bullies."

Another simply said: "Don't wax it. No."

In a second video, addressing concerns her daughter might get bullied more from posting the video, Ashley explained that it's her daughter's choice.

The comment she replied to read: "You sound like an obnoxious person. Why did you even post this? So she gets bullied more??"

Ashley replied: "Giselle wants the videos posted. Giselle asks to do these videos. Everyone in her school watches her and thinks she's cool."

She then went on to explain that the 'bully' is the "same boy who asked her for her phone number and she told him no."

However, others completely understood Ashley's decision to support her daughter.

One person commented: "My mum started getting my eyebrows watched at 11. Wish she would have started sooner. You're doing amazing mama."

Another said: "Children need to stop teasing other kids, it's not right. You are gorgeous the way you are. I love your eyebrows."
